This program is ideal for healthcare leaders who are relatively new to executive roles or are hoping to move into executive leadership positions soon in their careers. The program will detail the differences between leading from the front lines and leading from the administrative suite. An in-depth review of the different competencies needed for executive/senior-level leadership positions will be provided. In many respects, this program is about “transitions” and will include reviewing what may be the most important activities for leaders moving higher up within an organization; how executive roles impact the overall organization; career management in the executive suite; and the importance of the principles of influence and connectedness to truly impact the broader organization.

At the conclusion of the program, an optional session covering career management, resume strategies and engaging with recruiters will be offered.

• Identify key differences between first-line / middle-management roles and those in the executive realm.
• Describe the vital competencies required of executive-level jobs.
• Explore the structural changes and interpersonal skills needed to manage and transition your career into positions of increased responsibility and satisfaction.
