Women’s Health: The Path Forward to Better Access, Outcomes and Experiences
There has been much discussion regarding the importance of investing in women’s health at the global and national level. In this forward-looking seminar, participants will explore what it means to truly reimagine women’s health in America. To ground attendees in where we are today, faculty will examine the current status of women’s health including gaps in understanding, clinical research, education and investment. Through data, real-life patient stories and hospital case studies, this session aims to bridge the gap from now to where health care leaders must move to support women’s health in the future. Attendees can create a roadmap of actionable strategies, tactics and leadership lessons as well as analyze metrics that can be used to improve access to care, outcomes and patient experiences for women, patients and across services lines.
Seminar Learning Objectives:
- Describe the status of women’s health and the implications of its current gaps in understanding, clinical research, education and investment
- Identify health and healthcare preferences of women across their lives
- Analyze metrics to build the case and measure success for this work
- Explore a path forward towards better care, outcomes and patient experiences for women
- Evaluate strategies and tactics that can be used to promote women’s health, better meet the needs of the women patients and coworkers
