Ann Marie Creed, CMPE, FACHE

Biography
Ann Marie Creed has been with University of Michigan Health (UMH) Sparrow Lansing since May 2025. Sparrow Lansing is a 573 bed Level I trauma center serving the mid-Michigan region. Prior to joining UM Health-Sparrow Lansing, Creed was an executive with Henry Ford Health. At Henry Ford Health, she held multiple positions including vice president System Capacity, vice president of Operations, vice president of Surgical Services and several others.
Creed also served as interim president of Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, as vice president of Henry Ford’s Wyandotte hospital and in administrative roles with the Henry Ford Medical Group and the Wayne State Health Physician Group. Creed is also skilled in the integration of health systems and had been working on Ascension hospitals joining Henry Ford. Creed’s accomplishments at Henry Ford include serving as operations lead during the pandemic, overseeing creation of the system’s virtual intensive care unit, nursing and sitter programs; consolidation of beds and transfers across the system; increasing surgical volume and improving the nursing turnover rate.
Creed received her Master of Science in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University and her Bachelor of Arts in biology from Wayne State University. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE®), is a Certified Medical Practice Executive from the American College of Medical Practice Executives and is a Certified Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma. She has served on committees of the Henry Ford Medical Group Board of Governors and the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber. She also currently serves on the board of the Ingham County Health Centers.
