Biography
Brittany Bogan has led efforts to enhance healthcare quality and reduce preventable harm across the C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital since 2021. In addition to her primary role, Bogan serves as the interim associate chief operating officer at Von Voigtlander Women’s Hospital, where she oversees strategic, financial, quality and operational priorities for the women’s health program. Her leadership extends to the Michigan Child Health Equity Collaborative (Mi-CHEC), where she contributes to initiatives aimed at identifying and addressing pediatric health inequities across the state.
Before joining Michigan Medicine, Bogan was the senior vice president of Patient Safety and Quality at the Michigan Health & Hospital Association and the executive director of the MHA Keystone Center. She holds a Master of Health Services Administration and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Michigan. Her professional credentials include Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE®), Certified Professional in Patient Safety (CPPS) and Certified Patient Experience Professional (CPXP). Bogan's dedication to improving healthcare quality and equity has been recognized by Crain’s Detroit Business, which named her among the Notable Rising Stars in Health Care in 2021.
